Responsibilities
- Design, develop, debug, verify, and validate firmware, software, and hardware.
- Participate in day-to-day firmware development work.
- Collaborate with firmware engineers, developers, and architects across various IPs and pre-silicon and post-silicon phases.
- Consult internal and external customers regarding AMD features and programming requirements.
Requirements
- Experience and/or education within the semiconductor industry is preferred.
- Experience producing quality firmware is preferred.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, is required.
- Strong technical communication, interpersonal, leadership, problem-solving, independent-work, and collaborative-work skills are expected.
