Base Salary
$130k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and monitor high-performance services and APIs.
- Build applications and scalable cloud services using Go, Python, AWS, and GCP.
- Maintain services using AWS Kinesis, DynamoDB, and S3.
- Deliver production-ready code from development through deployment with attention to performance, scale, and security.
- Review code and improve software engineering practices across a cross-functional team.
- Troubleshoot application, production, logging, tracing, and regression-test issues using industry-standard tools.
- Participate in a night and weekend on-call rotation.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of software development experience.
- Experience designing and implementing highly scalable cloud-based APIs.
- Experience with multiple programming languages, including Python and Go.
- Expertise in data structures, algorithms, and concurrency.
- At least 2 years of DevOps experience supporting SaaS deployment, including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, and multi-container environments such as Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of data storage technologies such as Redis and MySQL.
- Knowledge of Docker and container orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes.
- Experience developing and maintaining services with AWS native products including Kinesis, DynamoDB, and S3.
- Linux proficiency.
- Ability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively, solve complex problems, and contribute with minimal supervision.
