Base Salary

$107k - $216k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture, quality, governance, and adoption of Fidelity’s enterprise UX design system.
  • Build and maintain design token systems, reusable UI components, component patterns, theming architectures, and UX standards.
  • Extend component frameworks such as PrimeNG to meet enterprise UX and accessibility standards.
  • Translate UX principles and designs into scalable, reusable, production-ready engineering assets.
  • Drive visual and interaction consistency across desktop, web, and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with designers and application teams to maintain fidelity between design and implementation.
  • Create prototypes, interaction patterns, and UX validations as needed.
  • Support API-driven UI integration, shared platform services, and desktop interoperability workflows.
  • Evaluate or integrate AI-assisted design generation, code generation, UI scaffolding, automated UX validation, and accessibility checks.
  • Influence UX standards, design-system adoption, and platform direction across a large application ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human-computer interaction, interaction design, computer science, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience building and scaling enterprise design systems, including tokens, theming, component libraries, and governance.
  • Proven ability to translate UX design into reusable, systemized engineering assets adopted across large ecosystems.
  • Hands-on experience with PrimeNG or equivalent UI libraries and component ecosystems.
  • Deep expertise with Figma and modern design-to-development workflows.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript, with deep expertise building scalable and maintainable UI systems.
  • Strong understanding of accessibility, WCAG, and inclusive design practices.
  • Experience driving UX consistency across multi-application platforms and collaborating closely with designers.
  • Understanding of API-driven UI integration and shared platform services.
  • Ability to focus on performance, usability, design quality, and production readiness.
  • Experience with desktop interoperability standards such as FDC3 and related interop products is preferred.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled UX patterns such as context-aware interfaces, intelligent workflows, personalization, and adaptive UI is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI tooling such as Figma AI and Copilot is preferred.
  • An advanced degree is preferred.
