Base Salary
$162k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical direction of software delivery as a shared product.
- Collaborate with Product and engineering leaders to shape the roadmap for the delivery platform.
- Deliver scalable, secure, and observable software delivery systems and workflows.
- Champion engineering excellence by setting best practices for testing and deployment.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to an inclusive engineering culture.
- Support the mission of journalistic independence.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in building technical strategy and driving CI/CD.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining production services in general-purpose programming languages.
- 7+ years of experience with containers, Kubernetes, and cloud services.
- Proficiency in GenAI-assisted developer tooling.
- Experience leading cross-team technical work and communicating trade-offs.
- Experience mentoring engineers and fostering a collaborative culture.
