Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain applications using the OutSystems platform.
Translate business requirements into functional and well-architected OutSystems solutions.
Apply OutSystems best practices and architecture patterns, including the O11 4-Layer Canvas and ODC software architecture.
Integrate OutSystems applications with external systems and REST APIs.
Perform code reviews and ensure code quality, reusability, and maintainability.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement responsive and accessible interfaces.
Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Maintain technical documentation for components and integrations.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Proven experience developing applications on the OutSystems platform using O11 or ODC.
OutSystems Associate Developer certification or higher.
Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with REST API integrations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred: OutSystems Professional Developer or Expert Developer certification.
Preferred: experience with OutSystems ODC, SQL, relational databases, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Agile/Scrum, or traditional software development using Java, .NET, or C#.

Contractor role supporting OutSystems and managed by a third-party agency.
Work location in Melbourne or Sydney, Australia.
