Base Salary
$149k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Bootstrap new cells end-to-end with full infrastructure setup and application stack deployment.
- Maintain and evolve cell lifecycle tooling for repeatable and auditable provisioning.
- Partner with application and product teams to design scalable, cell-native architecture.
- Design, build, test, scale, monitor, and maintain secure infrastructure in a multi-cloud environment.
- Triage and resolve complex cross-layer issues quickly and drive root cause fixes.
- Drive down technical debt through automation and systemic improvements.
- Participate in on-call rotation with a focus on long-term reliability improvements.
- Contribute as a core member of an agile team through sprint planning and execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 4+ years of experience engineering cloud infrastructure for production microservice systems.
- 2+ years of Python experience, including application-layer code.
- 1+ year of experience with Kubernetes and Helm.
- 1+ year of AWS experience including VPC, IAM, S3, and EKS.
- 1+ year of Terraform and HCL experience.
- Comfort operating across infrastructure and application engineering.
- Experience with on-call rotations and incident response.
- Practical experience using Generative AI tools in engineering workflows.
- Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
