Responsibilities
- Build and maintain in-sprint automated tests and provide hands-on automation leadership.
- Define quality gates, automation strategies, coding standards, and testing best practices across delivery teams.
- Design and improve test automation architectures and frameworks for web, mobile, desktop, database, and web-service testing.
- Support performance, load, scalability, high-availability, integration, security, disaster-recovery, and manual testing activities.
- Mentor and train teams on testing processes, automation, performance, test data, and quality strategy.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on product quality, performance, scalability, and system stability.
- Facilitate automation strategy, design, code review, and retrospective sessions across multiple teams and applications.
- Evaluate new testing tools, products, upgrades, and vendor or multivendor solutions.
- Collaborate with global QA, development, architecture, operations, and business stakeholders to resolve testing issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- 3–6+ years of Information Technology experience focused on Quality Assurance and Automation Testing.
- Proficiency with .NET and/or Java, scripting languages such as JavaScript and Python, APIs, GUI interfaces, XML/JSON, and SQL/NoSQL technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Visual Studio, Postman, Fiddler, and Playwright.
- Experience managing test automation architectures, frameworks, coding standards, and automation strategies.
- Experience with Behavior-Driven Development and tools such as Cucumber and Gherkin.
- Strong knowledge of relational database queries, procedures, database development tools, and database concepts.
- Experience with performance automation tools such as JMeter and BlazeMeter.
- Experience with Azure Pipelines, Git, and Jenkins.
- Experience with unit test frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, NUnit, and MS Test.
- Experience using JIRA, Confluence, and TestRail to log bugs and test results.
- Strong collaboration, communication, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, initiative, judgment, and resourcefulness skills.
- Exposure to the financial services sector is preferred.
