Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end web applications using Microsoft technologies.
- Build and maintain Electronic Lab Notebook applications used by scientists, engineers, and technicians.
- Work with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, WebAPI, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, Cosmos DB, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Design and work with n-tier architectures, object-oriented systems, SOLID principles, and creational, structural, and behavioral design patterns.
- Provide technical recommendations and solve complex technical problems.
- Raise, resolve, and close code reviews.
- Troubleshoot performance issues, write efficient code and queries, and use SQL Profiler.
- Implement and work with authentication and authorization, including OAuth2 and OpenID Connect.
- Contribute to service-oriented architecture projects and Agile/Scrum practices.
- Perform UI testing and unit testing.
Requirements
- 4 to 7 years of experience developing end-to-end web applications using the Microsoft technology stack.
- Strong experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and WebAPI.
- Strong experience with Angular 2 or above, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Working knowledge of Cosmos DB and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience using TFS.
- Familiarity with MS Test, Jasmine, Moq, NUnit, and Karma for UI and unit testing.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, design patterns, and n-tier architectures.
- Working knowledge of authentication and authorization, with OAuth2 and OpenID Connect as additional technologies.
- Experience with at least one service-oriented architecture project and Agile/Scrum practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, master’s degree in computer science, or equivalent.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical reasoning, communication, writing, attention to detail, flexibility, and teamwork skills.
