Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of features and enhancements from technical design through deployment and post-release feedback.
Own multiple concurrent Client Success Team initiatives with clear stakeholder communication and accountability.
Design and implement full-stack solutions across backend services, APIs, data pipelines, and frontend components.
Build and maintain ETL processes for data ingestion, validation, transformation, reporting, and SFTP/API integrations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements, define acceptance criteria, and quantify business value.
Contribute to technical scoping, effort estimation, ranking, and prioritisation.
Improve performance, reliability, and scalability across Horizon components.
Mentor teammates and promote high standards for code quality, documentation, testing, and delivery.
Present technical solutions, trade-offs, and implementation roadmaps in stakeholder and client meetings.

At least 5 years of professional Python software development experience.
A degree in Mathematics, Physics, Financial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
Strong Python experience in data processing and financial applications.
Full-stack development experience across backend services, APIs, databases, and modern frontend frameworks.
Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines and integrations involving APIs, SFTP, and structured market or portfolio datasets.
Experience leading small-to-medium software projects with strong ownership and accountability.
Exposure to financial markets, including foreign exchange and interest rate products.
Ability to communicate complex technical and financial concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Eligibility to work in the UK.
Preferred: experience with financial risk management software or platforms, market data integration, trade lifecycle systems, portfolio analytics, risk modelling, pricing, financial analytics, or client-facing consultative technology roles.
Preferred: MSc degree in a STEM field.
