Responsibilities
- Design high-performance C++ software for real-time signal processing, waveform manipulation, and mission-critical electronic warfare functions.
- Develop anti-jamming techniques, frequency-hopping methods, and adaptive filtering to counter electronic countermeasures.
- Create algorithms for RF sensing, signal detection, and situational awareness to identify and neutralize threats.
- Collaborate with hardware and systems teams to tune RF front-ends against physical constraints.
- Own work from initial system design and mathematical modeling through bench testing and field trials.
Requirements
- Strong modern C/C++ proficiency, including memory management, concurrency, and performance analysis.
- Professional background in electronic warfare or strong expertise in RF processing and the electromagnetic spectrum.
- Understanding of DSP, Fourier methods, modulation theory, RF propagation, and digital modulation schemes such as QAM, QPSK, and OFDM.
- Experience with embedded systems and Linux networking for radio-based mesh networks or point-to-point links.
- Strong systems-design and detailed implementation skills in high-end, mission-critical software.
- Clear and structured communication skills for cross-functional technical collaboration.
- Preferred experience includes LPI links, jamming theory, cognitive radio, MIMO antenna systems, beamforming, high-performance computing, cryptographic standards, custom protocols, SDR development, RF waveform design, amateur radio, and signal-processing modeling.
