Responsibilities
- Develop embedded and backend software modules for UAV systems.
- Implement ROS2 nodes, interfaces, and integration logic.
- Work on embedded Linux platforms and support hardware bring-up.
- Debug issues across software, firmware, and hardware boundaries.
- Support system testing and validation using hardware-in-the-loop and real hardware.
- Collaborate with Autonomy, Flight Controls, and Hardware teams.
- Contribute to clean, reliable code and clear documentation.
- Travel to Germany and other European locations when needed.
Requirements
- Experience developing in C++ for embedded or robotics systems.
- Solid experience with ROS2, including nodes, topics, services, and DDS.
- Familiarity with Linux-based development.
- Understanding of sensors, communication protocols, and integration challenges.
- Hands-on comfort testing on actual hardware.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management experience.
- Native or full professional proficiency in Swedish or Norwegian.
- Eligibility for Swedish security clearance (Säkerhetsprövning).
- Experience with robotics, UAVs, or other mission-critical systems is advantageous.
- Experience with computer vision, sensor processing, or NVIDIA Jetson is advantageous.
