Responsibilities
- Build and maintain full-stack production applications with frontend interfaces, backend services, REST and GraphQL APIs, and enterprise integrations.
- Write, test, review, debug, and deploy production-quality code across multiple languages and programming paradigms.
- Design and implement scalable event-driven and microservices architectures.
- Integrate AI, ML, and LLM capabilities into client applications, including agentic workflows, RAG pipelines, AI-augmented tooling, and intelligent automation.
- Set up and improve CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and delivery infrastructure.
- Work with data, algorithms, statistical modeling, machine learning, optimization, forecasting, simulation, and production model evaluation.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering, Data Science, Architecture, and Operations teams while communicating technical risks and blockers.
- Mentor developers through pairing, code review, and ongoing feedback.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software development or engineering experience delivering production software.
- At least 5 years of full-stack development experience covering frontend applications, backend services, APIs, and integrations.
- At least 5 years of experience writing clean, testable production code across the full software development lifecycle.
- At least 3 years of experience integrating AI, ML, or LLM capabilities into software applications, including model APIs, prompt orchestration, RAG, or intelligent automation.
- At least 3 years of experience building or integrating AI/ML/LLM-powered production features, including evaluation, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- At least 5 years of experience with source control, branching strategies, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.
- At least 5 years of experience in complex enterprise or cloud environments involving distributed systems, multiple teams, shared platforms, or integration-heavy architectures.
- Experience with cloud-native architecture, containerization, Kubernetes or managed container services, infrastructure as code, and observability platforms is preferred.
- Experience with legacy modernization, event-driven or microservices systems, structured and unstructured data, and analytical workflows is preferred.
- Experience in aerospace, industrial, manufacturing, transportation, or similarly regulated environments is preferred.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Information Systems is preferred.
- Must be legally able to work in Canada, eligible to handle US export-controlled data, and able to satisfy controlled-goods safeguarding requirements and the company's conflict-of-interest assessment.
Benefits
- Hybrid work arrangement requiring two days per week in the Richmond, BC office.

- Salary range is CAD $110,000.00–$197,000.00.
- This is a locally hired Canada position and is not an expatriate assignment.
- The position does not require a security clearance.
