Base Salary
$167k - $216k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and enhance scalable Python and Golang services and React frontends for Virta’s member-facing mobile app and care delivery systems.
- Contribute to a digital-first patient experience and scalable care delivery.
- Partner with product management, design, analysts, and technical and non-technical stakeholders to develop high-impact features.
- Collaborate on experiments, gather findings, and iterate on products and engineering workflows.
- Share knowledge, mentor peers, and introduce standards and processes that improve technical quality.
Requirements
- 7+ years of backend or full-stack engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Go, Python, or TypeScript, with familiarity with frameworks such as React.
- 7+ years of experience with REST, gRPC, or GraphQL APIs.
- At least 1 year of experience using AI tools to build consumer-facing products and accelerate development workflows.
- Experience building, deploying, and maintaining microservices in production.
- Strong communication skills and experience interfacing with technical and non-technical business stakeholders.
- Strong product sense and experience iteratively reducing requirements to test ideas within two weeks or less.
