Responsibilities

  • Develop solution design options for enterprise-wide initiatives and analyze their tradeoffs.
  • Recommend architecture approaches to senior stakeholders based on comparative analysis.
  • Serve as a technology subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide direction for controls, compliance initiatives, projects, and technology domain roadmaps.
  • Evaluate and test architecture designs against functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Define system enhancements for new products and process improvements.
  • Identify problem causality, business impact, and root causes.
  • Assess risks, support regulatory compliance, and escalate control issues transparently.
  • Advise and mentor junior team members.
  • Influence solution design decisions through advice, counsel, and facilitation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or postgraduate degree, preferably in computer science, computer engineering, or business/management.
  • 10–15 years of relevant experience in engineering and architecture roles within financial-services areas such as cash management, intra-day liquidity, payments, financial ledgers, or regulatory reporting.
  • Experience delivering large technology projects using industry-standard delivery methodologies.
  • Experience in enterprise architecture and technology strategy roles.
  • Ability to build working relationships and prioritize work effectively.
  • Strong decision-making, forward-thinking, creative problem-solving, analytical, and diagnostic skills.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking, and related reporting.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, take ownership, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
