Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop resilient, independently deployable microservices architectures.
- Build responsive user interfaces with Angular and JavaScript.
- Optimize SQL and Oracle queries, schemas, indexes, and database performance.
- Translate business requirements into maintainable and performant technical solutions.
- Create reusable components, patterns, and engineering guidelines.
- Integrate frontend applications and microservices with internal and external systems through secure APIs.
- Apply secure coding practices across Java, Angular, and SQL components.
- Conduct code reviews and unit testing to maintain software quality.
- Troubleshoot production and pre-production issues and implement remediation.
- Automate build, testing, and deployment pipelines using continuous integration and delivery practices.
- Document technical designs, service contracts, and implementation decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements, identify risks, and improve system usability and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 8–12 years of professional software engineering experience focused on backend services, microservices, and web application development.
- Advanced proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, including dependency injection, transaction management, error handling, and performance optimization.
- Experience with microservices design patterns, service decomposition, interservice communication, and configuration management.
- Strong SQL skills including database design, stored procedures, performance tuning, and complex query troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with Angular 10+ and JavaScript, including component-based development, state management, and integration with backend services.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in hybrid and distributed work environments.
- Clear English communication skills for documentation and technical collaboration.
- Oracle Certified Professional Java Programmer certification or an equivalent cloud or Java certification is preferred.
