Base Salary
$115k - $173k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop platform and system software features and APIs of small to medium complexity.
- Write high-quality code along with unit and functional tests for larger components.
- Design, implement, test, and debug new functionality with minimal supervision.
- Participate in design and code reviews to support feature quality and system stability.
- Collaborate with software engineering peers on technical design, best practices, and team projects.
- Apply sound software design, implementation, and testing principles.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional software engineering experience with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a similar field, or 3 years of equivalent professional experience.
- Experience coding in a high-level language, with GoLang and Python highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Linux, common scripting languages, networking concepts, and the OSI model.
- Working knowledge of Docker, Docker Compose, containerized development workflows, version control, and software development lifecycle practices.
- Experience interfacing with system hardware and firmware interfaces.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, collaboration, adaptability, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using generative AI to optimize coding and software development workflows is desired.
