Base Salary
$125k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop reliable, scalable pipelines, data analysis libraries, and services for vehicle telemetry and test data.
- Build and improve user-facing analysis applications.
- Prototype notebooks, reports, agents, computer vision, and APIs, then productionize successful solutions.
- Own software through design, testing, deployment, and operation.
- Collaborate with domain experts across avionics, GNC, propulsion, structures, and launch operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or a scientific discipline, or 2+ years of professional software-building experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least 1 year of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or data science.
- Programming experience in Python; C# or similar experience is a plus.
- Experience with data analysis libraries, machine learning libraries, data exploration tools, and relational databases.
- Experience building APIs and internal web applications.
- Experience applying computer vision to production video or image review is preferred.
- Familiarity with HPC or batch compute, including schedulers, containers, and shared filesystems, is preferred but not required.
- Understanding of version control, testing, deployment, CI, and monitoring.
- Some front-end experience with React, Angular, or similar technologies.
- Clear communication with users and domain experts.
- Must meet applicable ITAR eligibility or authorization requirements.
