Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into secure, scalable technical designs in collaboration with product managers.
- Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of platform features and service capabilities.
- Design database schemas and REST/gRPC interfaces.
- Use AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate implementation, automate repetitive tasks, optimize performance, and support testing.
- Write maintainable code with comprehensive unit tests and conduct rigorous code reviews.
- Migrate legacy infrastructure and authentication systems to modern cloud platform architectures.
- Troubleshoot live-site issues, fix integration bugs, and resolve customer and player problems.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to technical hiring, mentoring, and team growth.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional software development experience.
- Strong foundations in algorithms, data structures, operating systems, and distributed systems.
- Deep backend development experience with Java or similar languages.
- Practical experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar IDE assistants.
- Experience designing or architecting components of large-scale systems or online services.
- Experience troubleshooting live sites and maintaining service availability.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical major.
- Experience building and operating high-throughput, large-scale distributed online services is preferred.
