Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain full-stack web applications and marketing sites on Sanity CMS from content schema through rendered page.
- Work with AWS CloudFront, S3, Lambda, and CloudWatch when site delivery or observability changes require it.
- Partner with marketing, content, SEO/GEO, design, sales, product marketing, and growth stakeholders to develop scalable web architecture.
- Build reusable components, templates, and tooling that enable non-engineering authors to manage content safely.
- Own web performance, accessibility, technical SEO, and readiness for AI crawlers and agents.
- Integrate third-party analytics, marketing automation, personalization services, and APIs.
- Use AI-assisted development tools for prototyping, code review, refactoring, and documentation.
- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, retrospectives, and process improvement within an agile team.
- Adapt to changing priorities, tools, and requirements while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional full-stack web development experience.
- Production experience with Sanity CMS or a comparable headless or structured-content CMS such as Contentful, Contentstack, or Storyblok using GraphQL, with willingness to learn Sanity's GROQ query language.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and a component-based frontend framework such as React, Astro, or Next.js.
- Understanding of APIs, data modeling, server-side rendering or static generation, and deployment pipelines.
- Experience working in agile or Scrum environments with iterative delivery and shifting priorities.
- Everyday experience using AI coding tools in an engineering workflow.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, including working with marketing and content stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred experience with medium-to-large production websites, GEO, technical SEO, AI crawlers and agents, Astro, AWS services, analytics and tag-management tools, design systems, component libraries, marketing engineering, web platforms, or digital experience teams.
