Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development, business analysis, and project management teams to define test strategies and plans.
- Design, document, and maintain test cases and scenarios for Salesforce functionality, customizations, and integrations.
- Perform manual, automated, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Playwright or Cypress.
- Identify, document, track, and report defects through resolution.
- Coordinate Salesforce UAT sessions with business stakeholders.
- Set up and manage test environments, Salesforce sandboxes, and test data integrity.
- Maintain test documentation and generate execution status, coverage, and defect trend reports.
- Assess implementation risks and recommend mitigations.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior testers and team members.
- Stay current with Salesforce features, testing practices, and industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of software testing experience, including at least 2 years focused on Salesforce QA testing and automation.
- Proficiency testing Salesforce applications, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom solutions.
- Proficiency in automation testing, ideally with Playwright or Cypress.
- Ability to write test scripts and clear, comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Familiarity with defect tracking systems such as Jira or Bugzilla.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Preferred Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Advanced Administrator, or Salesforce Platform App Builder certification.
- Preferred experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Agile development teams.
- Preferred familiarity with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware solutions.
