Responsibilities
- Analyze software requirements, technology architecture, system interdependencies, and application stacks.
- Design, develop, execute, and report on automated tests for functional, regression, performance, and non-functional requirements.
- Improve automation frameworks and develop reusable libraries across technology stacks and business lines.
- Create test plans, test cases, usage scenarios, acceptance criteria, automation backlogs, and defect documentation.
- Design and maintain automated testing tools and software validation processes.
- Track quality metrics, defects, resolutions, bug fixes, risks, and deployment mitigation measures.
- Collaborate with Agile delivery, development, project management, business, testing, support, user, and client teams.
- Develop strategies and tools to improve continuous deployment practices.
- Perform backend and database programming for key projects when needed.
- Document automation processes, test cases, debugging data, and performance reviews according to Wipro standards.
Requirements
- Mandatory experience with API automation testing.
- 5–8 years of professional experience.
- Ability to design and execute automated testing tools and validation processes.
- Experience testing functional, regression, performance, and non-functional requirements.
- Ability to understand system architecture, application stacks, requirements, and project objectives.
- Ability to perform backend and database programming for key projects.
- Ability to create technical specifications, resolve complex design issues, and track defects through mitigation.
- Strong documentation and communication skills for working with technical teams, business stakeholders, users, and clients.
- Knowledge of software development standards, accepted design patterns, and industry standards.
