Base Salary
$62k - $141k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, test, and sustain software and hardware for aircraft survivability and countermeasures systems.
- Provide software development, test equipment design, and technical support for ALE-47 Countermeasures Dispensing System operators.
- Program test equipment, develop hardware emulation systems, and perform hardware and software testing.
- Maintain multiple software and test equipment configurations for different fielded platform versions and requirements.
- Troubleshoot production and test system issues and develop software improvements that meet operator and mission needs.
- Analyze and resolve bugs and defects and create technical manuals and codebase documentation.
- Lead production software modifications and support interfaces between software products and vendor products.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development and hardware testing for fielded and in-production U.S. military systems such as avionics, control, or countermeasures systems.
- 10+ years of experience with C, C++, 8051 Assembly, Python, or ADA.
- 10+ years working on U.S. Government and contractor engineering teams.
- Experience with software development practices, configuration, defect resolution, technical documentation, hardware emulation, test equipment, and production software testing.
- Experience working in a U.S. Government test facility and leading software modifications that meet mission needs.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science.
- Preferred qualifications include ALE-47 experience, U.S. Navy Electronic Warfare experience, Foreign Military Sales operator support, test equipment design, design-specification compliance testing, and vendor interface development.
- Secret clearance is preferred.
