Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve switch software.
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Manage scalability and performance tuning of large-scale networks.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing their sources and impacts on hardware, network, service operations, and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- At least 3 years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
- Experience with networking, including L2, L3, ACL protocol layers, and SDN.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies.
- Preferred: knowledge of Linux user space development and multithreading development.
Benefits
- US base salary of $174000 - $252000 USD, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
