Responsibilities
- Design and develop test automation frameworks for embedded firmware verification and validation.
- Develop test cases, assess their feasibility for automation, and create and execute automation scripts.
- Execute assigned projects across AC Power, Thermal, and DC Power product lines.
- Build embedded-systems hardware test setups, troubleshoot hardware, and read and understand schematics.
- Test communication interfaces and protocols including RS-485, Modbus, CANopen, Ethernet, TCP/IP, I2C, and SPI.
- Report project work according to the defined communication plan and collaborate effectively with global engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's engineering degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or ENTC.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in software test automation across embedded-system domains.
- Strong Python programming skills, including at least 2 years of Python experience and participation in at least one end-to-end automation project.
- Required hardware-in-the-loop experience using Vector tools such as VT System and CANoe; CAPL knowledge is preferred.
- Strong test automation experience with embedded products featuring web interfaces and HMIs.
- Experience with embedded hardware troubleshooting, test setups, schematic reading, and understanding.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA, Bugzilla, and TestRail.
- Manual testing experience and power-domain experience are preferred.
- Strong debugging, logical, analytical, interpersonal, teamwork, and written and spoken English communication skills.
