Responsibilities
- Understand customer requirements and create and execute implementation strategies.
- Architect solutions that meet customers’ custom business requirements.
- Update and maintain backend projects.
- Integrate third-party services and APIs for data flow and platform communication.
- Collaborate with frontend and backend developers, customer success managers, and external stakeholders.
- Build reusable components and help evolve backend projects.
- Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
- Test new and existing projects for security and stability.
- Develop, update, and maintain technical documentation.
- Research technology best practices and identify cost-effective solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
- 3–5 years of experience as a Solutions Engineer or Solutions Architect.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript.
- Basic or intermediate SQL proficiency, including select statements, joins, case statements, and subqueries.
- Knowledge of ETL and data warehousing.
- Experience with Jira, Postman, Confluence, and AWS Server.
- A consultative approach to solving customer business challenges and a record of overcoming technical and security objections.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred experience with cron jobs and Google Cloud Platform services.
- Preferred knowledge of NoSQL or SQL databases and shell scripting.
- Preferred knowledge of web servers and deployment frameworks such as Docker or equivalent.
