Base Salary
$180k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct technical discovery of customer workflows, networks, hosting, identity, and integration requirements.
- Coordinate deployment engineering, infrastructure validation, network configuration checks, system readiness verification, and deployment configuration code.
- Support accreditation by creating and reviewing STIG checklists, ATO artifacts, and related security documentation.
- Align technical stakeholders and translate requirements into contract deliverables.
- Design integrations involving APIs, data pipelines, Foundry, Maven Smart System, CUOPS tools, and dashboards.
- Lead technical demonstrations, solution validation, pilot deployments, and customer-facing technical engagements.
- Convert deployment experience into reusable implementation patterns and provide requirements to Product and Engineering.
- Travel 30–50% of the time to customer sites and exercises.
Requirements
- Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in solutions engineering, infrastructure or deployment engineering, or forward-deployed engineering while working with go-to-market and operational teams.
- Experience in Department of War environments and their RMF, STIG, and ICD 503 security and compliance requirements.
- Expertise with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and on-premises virtualization with RHEL.
- Understanding of networking concepts and protocols and security practices for highly sensitive environments.
- Strong customer presence, clear concise writing, composure under pressure, and forward-focused execution.
- Preferred proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash; Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible; Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog; and Istio or Linkerd.
- Preferred experience as a military planner or staff officer, with mission command systems, Foundry, Maven Smart System, or presales demonstrations.
