Base Salary
$130k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery with law firm billing and finance teams to map time, expense, invoicing, payment, and collections processes.
- Design and configure billing, time and expense, fee arrangement, invoice, pre-bill approval, e-billing, accounts receivable, collections, trust fund, and reporting workflows on Litify and Salesforce.
- Plan and support migration and reconciliation of open WIP, unbilled costs, and accounts receivable data from legacy systems.
- Configure and test solutions, coordinate custom development, and lead workshops, UAT, training, and go-live support.
- Maintain project status, risks, and documentation while delivering client-facing implementation work.
- Share field learnings with Product and Professional Services to improve the billing offering.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Three or more years of hands-on legal firm billing or finance experience, or experience at a legal time and billing software company.
- Working knowledge of time and expense entry, rate management, fee arrangements, pre-bill adjustments, invoicing, LEDES and UTBMS e-billing, billing guidelines, accounts receivable, collections, WIP, realization reporting, and trust accounting basics.
- Three or more years implementing or consulting on time, billing, or financial software, including discovery, requirements, configuration, data migration, UAT, and go-live.
- Comfort with SQL or ETL tools for loading and validating financial data and understanding system integrations.
- Ability to run workshops, present to executives, and manage multiple projects.
- CPA license or CPA-eligible status is preferred.
- Salesforce implementation or administration experience and Salesforce Administrator certification are preferred.
- Experience with Accounting Seed, Certinia, FinancialForce, Elite 3E, Aderant, Centerbase, Juris, Legal Tracker, TyMetrix 360, BillBlast, Litify, or another legal practice management platform is preferred.
