Responsibilities
- Serve as the functional lead with ownership of the team’s code, design, and project delivery.
- Solve complex technical problems and build scalable systems for high-volume distributed domains.
- Identify performance bottlenecks, scalability issues, and optimization opportunities.
- Contribute to architecture discussions, propose solutions, and evaluate technical trade-offs.
- Collaborate with product managers to break down large projects and prioritize work.
- Build platforms supporting content discovery across mobile, web, and living-room devices.
- Optimize applications for performance and scalability across multiple platforms.
- Mentor and guide other developers.
Requirements
- Strong coding and system-design skills in Java or Golang.
- Experience building high-scale distributed domain-driven microservices.
- Proficiency with MySQL, Cassandra, Redis, and DynamoDB.
- Excellent problem-solving and production-debugging skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and collaborate within a team.
- B-Tech or M-Tech in computer science or a related technical discipline.
- 9–12 years of progressive software development experience with a record of delivering complex projects on time.
- Experience with AWS services such as SQS, DynamoDB, EKS, and Aurora is preferred.
