Responsibilities

Build unified interfaces encapsulating dozens of third-party payment integrations.
Own backend system architecture and implementation for a core revenue platform.
Build performant, resilient, and secure data flows for cross-border remittances.
Collaborate with Product, Operations, Customer Support, Growth, and other teams to ship working features.
Evaluate and deliver timeline estimates while managing conflicting priorities and stakeholder expectations.
Contribute to team culture, processes, and engineering norms as an early team member.

Have 7+ years of professional experience building backend systems.
Demonstrate proficiency with Kotlin or Java and the JVM.
Demonstrate proficiency with PostgreSQL.
Have experience with AWS services including S3, SQS, SNS, and Lambda.
Have experience implementing and managing complex third-party API integrations.
Have experience developing systems with real-world performance and reliability constraints.
Have experience working in collaborative, multifunctional, and fast-paced environments.
Communicate effectively, manage conflicting priorities, set stakeholder expectations, and drive work forward.
