Responsibilities
- Understand customer technical and business requirements and design solutions using Dow Jones data and services.
- Provide technical pre-sales support and implementation guidance in partnership with Sales Specialists.
- Build and lead technical product demonstrations involving APIs and manage customer proofs of concept.
- Guide customers and third-party integrators through product integration and respond to technical and functional questions.
- Provide feedback to Product and Technology teams about customer requirements and technology trends.
- Contribute to team best practices, processes, and solution guidance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working on customer solutions architectures.
- Prior experience in a customer-facing engineering role.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform, particularly BigQuery.
- Working knowledge of SQL, Python, and Node.js.
- Strong communication, business acumen, and strategic problem-solving skills.
- Experience building and leading technical product demonstrations involving APIs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant experience.
- Preferred: experience with cloud services for data ingestion, processing, and storage; machine learning techniques including NLP and text mining; a modern programming language; XML, CSV, and RESTful APIs; and Dow Jones products such as Factiva and Newswires.
