$171k - $209k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and integrate software applications and components.
- Build distributed storage platforms and high-performance data pipelines.
- Apply technical knowledge to evaluate complex data, developments, and projects and recommend solutions to technical issues.
- Support business operations and improve engineering productivity.
- Resolve production issues affecting product and system reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
- Two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
- Two years of experience with C++, Python, Java, Go, Git, or SVN.
- Two years of experience with SQL or MySQL.
- Experience developing data structures and algorithms.
- Experience designing technology stacks, developing large-scale distributed systems, and working through the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Backend development experience and experience with cloud provider virtual machines.
Benefits
- Rate of pay is $171,000 to $209,000 per year.
- Eligible to participate in Uber’s bonus program and may be offered other types of compensation.
