Principal Engineer - Java Full Stack

- Lead end-to-end technology solution delivery for commercial lending capabilities across loan origination, servicing, and delivery.
- Advise leadership, design and code solutions for complex enterprise challenges, and translate business objectives into technical engineering solutions.
- Make architecture decisions, provide architecture guidance, conduct code reviews and proofs of concept, and guide development and scrum teams.
- Collaborate with product, program, architecture, platform, and technology leadership teams to define technical strategies, roadmaps, priorities, and dependencies.
- Drive platform stability, performance, operational efficiency, technical debt reduction, and innovation using AI, automation, and data engineering capabilities.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- At least 7 years of experience with Java 17+, Spring Boot 3.x, Spring Security, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, JPA, Python, Scala, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
- At least 7 years of experience with Angular 16, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, jQuery, and AJAX.
- At least 3 years of Teradata and Unix experience, plus at least 2 years of experience with Teradata Utilities, load/unload processes, and BigQuery.
- At least 2 years of experience implementing AI technology, working in Agile environments, using Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, relational database design, SQL performance tuning, and Microsoft Excel with Power Query.
- Desired qualifications include experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Kafka, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Maven, Gradle, SonarQube, Ansible, shell scripting, F5, AVI, Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, Apache Spark, ETL technologies, and enterprise data platforms.
- Preferred experience includes cloud modernization, enterprise data engineering and analytics, AI-driven automation, financial services or large-scale enterprise technology, secure and highly available solutions, and strong communication, analytical, collaboration, and prioritization skills.
