Base Salary
$135k - $158k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver scalable Java-driven services and Angular-based web platforms for high-volume transactions.
- Lead smaller initiatives end-to-end by translating requirements into designs, guiding development, and ensuring reliable production outcomes.
- Build and modernize distributed systems using containers, microservices, cloud environments, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Coordinate work and dependencies across product management, architecture, engineering, and distributed teams.
- Mentor junior engineers, provide feedback, and help improve team capabilities.
- Create technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and design specifications.
- Apply object-oriented design, architecture standards, and design patterns to produce maintainable solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 6+ years building large-scale, highly available systems using Java, Spring, cloud development, and web services.
- 4+ years working with containers and microservices in cloud environments.
- 4+ years of professional Angular experience, including component architecture, RxJS, routing, unit and end-to-end testing, and performance tuning.
- 4+ years delivering applications through CI/CD pipelines with an emphasis on quality and reliability.
- 2+ years of experience with PCF, AWS, and/or GCP.
- 2+ years working with databases such as MongoDB, Aerospike, Redis, and SQL Server.
- Strong object-oriented design, problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and dependency-management skills.
- Preferred experience includes .NET technologies such as C# and ASP.NET Core, AI-enabled development tools, financial services, TDD, QA automation, Agile environments, Jira, and Confluence.
