Base Salary

$200k - $250k/yr

Responsibilities

Own product modules from customer scoping through API design, UI development, production launch, and iteration.
Design and evolve agentic AI systems across Slack bots, terminal UIs, web interfaces, and vendor integrations.
Build LLM-agent-drivable features using MCP/FastMCP servers and conversational interfaces.
Move pricing and business logic into backend services and maintain typed pricing ontology models using Pydantic.
Lead architecture reviews, technical discussions, testing, observability, deployment, performance monitoring, and production root-cause analysis.
Mentor peers, influence product strategy, and help establish engineering culture and AI-native development practices.

8+ years of engineering experience with strong full-stack skills and product-area ownership at startup or staff-engineer scope.
Deep backend experience with FastAPI, Python, MongoDB, or a comparable modern stack.
Frontend experience with React and TypeScript, including the ability to independently ship polished user interfaces.
Experience taking ambiguous customer problems to shipped features without a dedicated product manager.
Experience designing and building versioned REST or GraphQL APIs with clear contracts.
High standards for correctness, particularly for financial and pricing logic.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
Preferred experience includes B2B monetization, pricing, packaging, quoting, billing, CPQ, AI-assisted development tools, LLM agent tooling, MCP-like servers, or early/founding startup engineering.

$200,000–$250,000 USD annual salary.
Early-employee equity commensurate with founding-team scope.
