Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies for software functionality and quality standards.
- Create and execute automated test scripts and identify opportunities to expand test automation.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute SIT, E2E, UAT, production proving, performance, and non-functional testing activities.
- Perform API, database, integration, backend-process, data-flow, and third-party-interface validation.
- Analyze defects, conduct root-cause investigations, and work with developers to support resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and vendor teams on requirements, design discussions, acceptance criteria, code reviews, and quality outcomes.
- Assess testing risks, optimize testing effort, and drive continuous improvement across the testing lifecycle.
- Contribute technical expertise and stakeholder guidance within the testing and software delivery function.
Requirements
- Strong experience with end-to-end testing in cards issuing, payments, or banking domains.
- Proven expertise in test planning, test design, test execution, defect management, and coordination of SIT, E2E, UAT, and production proving.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Rest Assured, or similar.
- Solid understanding of API, database, and integration testing, including backend processes, data flows, and third-party interfaces.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
- Experience with cards issuing platforms or systems such as TSYS, Mastercard, Visa, Rewards, Loyalty, or Customer Servicing systems is valued.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted testing, self-healing automation, test data automation, and intelligent test reporting is valued.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or GitHub is valued.
- Experience in performance, non-functional, production validation, monitoring, and live proving testing is valued.
