Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies for software functionality and quality compliance.
- Create and execute automated test scripts and identify opportunities to expand test automation.
- Plan, design, execute, and coordinate SIT, E2E, UAT, and production proving activities.
- Perform API, database, integration, performance, non-functional, and production validation testing.
- Validate backend processes, data flows, third-party interfaces, and complex business processes across integrated systems.
- Analyze defects, perform root-cause analysis, and provide detailed information to support resolution.
- Collaborate with business, development, infrastructure, and third-party vendor teams to deliver quality outcomes.
- Participate in requirements analysis, design discussions, acceptance-criteria development, code reviews, and testing-process improvement.
- Assess risks, optimize testing effort, and contribute to technology communities and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Strong experience in end-to-end testing within cards issuing, payments, or banking domains.
- Proven expertise in test planning, test design, execution, defect management, and coordination of SIT, E2E, UAT, and production proving.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks or tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Rest Assured.
- Solid understanding of API, database, and integration testing, including backend processes, data flows, and third-party interfaces.
- Excellent stakeholder-management, communication, and coordination skills across business, development, infrastructure, and vendor teams.
- Experience with cards issuing platforms or related systems such as TSYS, Mastercard, Visa, Rewards, Loyalty, or Customer Servicing.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted testing, self-healing automation scripts, test-data automation, and intelligent test reporting.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or GitHub.
- Experience in performance, non-functional, and production validation testing, including monitoring and live proving.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, risk-assessment, and continuous-improvement skills.
