Responsibilities
- Lead a squad as a hands-on player-coach while writing the most complex code and maintaining technical credibility.
- Build Go services, event-driven systems, high-throughput transactional data models, and WebSocket backends.
- Own a technical track covering core platform services, AI/ML pipelines, or CCaaS, CRM, and telephony connector frameworks.
- Design and deliver real-time, low-latency products and services on committed timelines.
- Set engineering patterns through shipped code, own the code-review bar, and raise the capabilities of other engineers.
- Unblock delivery, manage changing priorities, and ensure the squad demonstrates working software regularly.
- Debug unfamiliar code, stack traces, flaky partner APIs, and production system issues.
Requirements
- At least 9 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Strong Go experience and proficiency in at least three programming languages.
- Experience leading a squad and shipping a hard real-time or platform product end to end.
- Production experience with event-driven systems such as NATS, Kafka, or Redpanda, plus heavy WebSocket, real-time, and low-latency systems.
- Hands-on AI experience involving LLM APIs, embeddings, RAG, model serving, or evaluation rather than only conversational use.
- Ability to build clean software quickly, meet estimates, debug complex issues, and own delivery.
- Preferred experience with GCP, data graphs or knowledge graphs, AI/ML model training or serving, SIP/RTP/SIPREC, CCaaS/CTI, desktop-adjacent systems, or CRM connectors.
- For the AI/ML track, deeper Python, production GenAI/NLU, streaming inference, evaluation frameworks, and RAG experience are preferred.
- For the integrations track, experience with Genesys, Amazon Connect, NICE, Five9, CRM connectors, SIP/RTP, and fault-tolerant connector design is preferred.
Benefits
- Full-time, fully remote opportunity.
- Work in a startup-style innovation group backed by TTEC’s enterprise scale and customer base.
- Participate in one-week sprints, Friday demos, and rapid prototype-driven development.
