Base Salary

$140k - $160k/yr

Responsibilities

Work directly with key customers to solve web-scraping and data-extraction challenges.
Own customer requests from intake through delivery and ensure high-quality outcomes.
Manage and support scraping engineers building and maintaining data pipelines.
Translate customer context into product feedback and engineering roadmap input.
Define, document, and scale the Forward Deployed Engineer function.
Build, debug, and maintain web-scraping infrastructure and data-extraction systems at scale.
Improve customer satisfaction metrics or accelerate sales velocity through technical delivery.

At least 3 years of professional engineering experience with a track record of shipping quality software systems.
At least 1 year of direct customer-facing technical experience, such as solutions engineering, technical account management, or sales engineering.
Hands-on experience with web-scraping infrastructure or data-extraction systems at scale.
Proficiency with Selenium, Puppeteer, BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, or similar tools.
Familiarity with bot-detection evasion, request infrastructure, or anti-scraping mitigation techniques.
Experience managing or mentoring engineers and interest in progressing toward engineering management.
Experience owning customer problems end-to-end and converting customer needs into technical and product requirements.
Experience working at an early-stage or growth-stage startup, preferably Series A or earlier.
Experience with financial-services customers or data-driven decision-makers is a plus.
Familiarity with data-quality assurance, validation pipelines, or structured-data delivery is a plus.

Salary of $140,000 to $160,000 USD annually.
On-site role in New York City, NY; candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to NYC.
