Responsibilities
- Deliver and operate DevOps environments end to end across hybrid on-premise and multi-cloud infrastructure.
- Automate and standardise infrastructure and platform operations to improve consistency, scalability, and reliability.
- Support live, business-critical trading systems across global data centres and cloud environments.
- Contribute to the modernisation of infrastructure and implementation of emerging technologies, including AI-related infrastructure.
- Collaborate through pull requests, peer reviews, knowledge sharing, and delivery of project and business-as-usual objectives.
- Improve platform performance while maintaining service levels and accounting for business risk and operational constraints.
Requirements
- Very strong Azure and AWS skills and strong automation experience.
- Experience with Ansible, Terragrunt, Terraform, Python, pull requests, and peer reviews.
- Very good understanding of containerisation technologies and AI-related infrastructure and DevOps processes.
- Experience or willingness to learn Kubernetes, test automation, Linux and Windows administration, networking, CI/CD and build tooling, observability, public-cloud platform engineering, data streaming, caching, Java, C#, chaos engineering, and resilience testing.
- Extensive experience working independently and within diverse teams in a fast-moving operational environment.
- Strong organisational, communication, collaboration, continuous-improvement, and problem-solving skills.
