Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Architect, manage, and scale enterprise Kubernetes infrastructure across EKS and GKE clusters for high availability and performance.
- Oversee automated platform optimization and resource management to reduce manual tuning and operational toil.
- Implement resource automation for workload sizing, placement, and Karpenter configurations.
- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, FinOps, and finance teams on sustainable cost avoidance.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and observability tools for the Kubernetes ecosystem.
- Mentor engineers and lead architectural initiatives that improve platform resilience, security, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Platform Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or SRE managing Kubernetes environments such as EKS or GKE at massive enterprise scale.
- Hands-on experience with intelligent resource automation platforms such as ScaleOps and automated scaling tools such as Karpenter.
- Strong understanding of FinOps principles and experience driving cost-avoidance strategies in cloud-native environments.
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or OpenTofu and configuration management.
- Deep expertise in AWS or GCP cloud services, containerization technologies, and large compute footprints.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills and experience aligning technical objectives with business and financial goals.
