Responsibilities
- Collaborate with account executives to develop and execute territory and account strategies.
- Conduct research and discovery to understand customer requirements.
- Execute the delivery of POCs for customers with complex use cases.
- Craft technical content to show customers how to implement specific use cases.
- Prepare and deliver demos to showcase how the Okta platform meets customer needs.
- Distill and communicate customer needs and product feedback to various teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years pre-sales engineering experience.
- A passion for customer service in a customer-facing role.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
- Strong understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM) technologies.
- Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture and core security concerns.
- Hands-on experience in web, mobile, or backend development is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Elite communication skills and ability to manage multiple personas.
- Typically 10-25% travel required.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
