Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture design and implementation of cloud-native solutions for fraud detection, risk analysis, and digital intelligence on AWS.
- Set technical strategy and make architecture decisions for digital intelligence and device fingerprinting domains.
- Design and implement scalable, low-latency RESTful services and event-driven platforms processing device signals, behavioral data, fraud indicators, and risk scores.
- Establish coding standards, conduct architecture reviews, mentor engineers, and provide technical leadership across engineering teams.
- Partner with product, engineering, data science, security, and strategic teams to translate fraud and risk requirements into technical solutions.
- Architect systems supporting continuous delivery, observability, security, compliance, and cost optimization.
- Embed AI and ML capabilities into fraud detection, anomaly detection, risk scoring, and device intelligence features.
- Promote AI tool adoption for development, testing, productivity, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience designing cloud-native solutions on AWS.
- Expertise with AWS services including EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, Kinesis, and Lambda, as well as Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Experience designing scalable, resilient, and cost-optimized Java architectures for high-volume, low-latency applications.
- Experience architecting complex, mission-critical systems serving millions of requests with stringent performance and availability requirements.
- Track record of translating requirements into technical solutions while managing multiple engineering teams and partner dependencies.
- Expertise in event-driven, data-intensive platforms and APIs, including asynchronous processing, Kafka, database optimization, and low-latency, high-throughput design.
- Experience leading technical strategy, establishing architecture standards, mentoring engineers, and aligning technical concepts with business objectives.
