Base Salary
$110k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the technical relationship with named public-sector customers as a trusted technical advisor.
- Lead technical activities including deployment, lunch-and-learn sessions, user training, and support.
- Collaborate with Solutions Architects to plan and execute successful Rescale solution deployments.
- Analyze customers’ technical needs, requirements, infrastructure, operations, and workflows.
- Onboard new customer workflows and expand the Rescale platform footprint.
- Develop deep knowledge of customer workflows and HPC environments.
- Help customers define and execute digital transformation strategies to migrate workloads from on-premises infrastructure to the cloud.
- Present Rescale solutions at conferences, user groups, webinars, and similar events.
- Partner with Product Management to improve the ScaleX platform and engineer productivity in the cloud.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of customer-facing software, hardware, or cloud experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or equivalent experience.
- Experience addressing complex technical challenges in the defense or public sector.
- Must be a U.S. Person.
- Preferred: 3 years of enterprise cloud, hardware, or software technical experience.
- Preferred: Knowledge of at least one HPC discipline, such as CFD, FEA, molecular dynamics, weather forecasting, computational chemistry, reservoir simulation, media rendering, machine learning, or financial computing.
- Preferred: Experience with enterprise customers in industries such as aerospace, automotive, life sciences, oil and gas, semiconductors, EDA, or the federal sector.
- Preferred: Experience with HPC simulation software, including packages from ANSYS, Siemens, Dassault Systèmes, COMSOL, AVL, Altair, PTC, Cadence, Synopsys, Autodesk, OpenFOAM, LAMMPS, GROMACS, or NAMD.
- Preferred: Strong presentation skills and the ability to explain highly technical topics clearly.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
- Preferred: Ability to manage complex projects and coordinate colleagues across diverse teams and locations.
- Preferred: Understanding of HPC, schedulers, IaaS, scripting languages, and customer deployment practices.
