- Architect and implement reliable, secure, multi-step and parallel LLM-powered agentic workflows.
- Build governed tool execution with access controls, tenant isolation, scope enforcement, and auditable constraints.
- Define unified semantic and data layers across relational, vector, semantic-modeled, and API sources.
- Establish platform standards for latency, throughput, data isolation, availability, observability, and explainability.
- Define and enforce architectural dependency rules through code, tests, and design reviews.
- Partner with engineering, product, and data science teams to create documented platform contracts.
- Mentor engineers, lead design reviews, and promote reusable platform infrastructure and stable interfaces.
Requirements

- Hands-on experience designing and shipping production LLM-based systems, such as agent orchestration, tool use, RAG pipelines, multi-step reasoning, or structured output generation.
- Strong fundamentals in API design, distributed systems, asynchronous execution, fault tolerance, and observability.
- Experience designing extensible plugin or extension systems with stable, versioned contracts.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with the AI/ML ecosystem, including inference latency, throughput, and cost tradeoffs.
- Experience operating multi-tenant systems with strict data isolation and access control requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant computing or software field and 4 years of related experience, or 6 years of related experience.
- Preferred: relevant master’s degree with 2 years of software engineering experience.
- Preferred: experience with LLM governance, AI safety, guardrails, responsible AI, semantic modeling, data mesh, canonical data layers, platform engineering, agentic frameworks, or organization-wide engineering standards.
