Responsibilities
- Evaluate business requirements, prepare technical specifications, and develop application components.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using VB.NET or C#, SQL Server, XML, and related technologies.
- Perform unit testing, support integration testing, and meet required quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, performance issues, and production incidents.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA teams, global stakeholders, and third-party vendors during requirements, testing, and deployments.
- Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives while following coding, architecture, change control, version control, and deployment practices.
- Provide rotational on-call production support and prepare technical documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Strong experience with VB.NET or C#, SQL Server, XML, and API-driven development.
- Experience with third-party vendors or packaged systems.
- Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, or other version control and CI/CD tools.
- Front-end technology exposure, cloud platform experience with Azure, and insurance or regulated-industry experience are advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills.
