Base Salary
$150k - $189k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with backend and mobile engineers, designers, and product managers to build and enhance product features.
- Develop client-facing frontend features using in-house Design System components.
- Triage and resolve operational issues affecting mission-critical web systems and services.
- Work on web platform infrastructure projects that improve system health, performance, and product delivery velocity.
- Participate in recruiting activities, including interviewing.
- Mentor other engineers on the team.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in a web-focused engineering role.
- Deep understanding of JavaScript, including ES5+ standards and native DOM APIs.
- Experience with at least one modern frontend framework such as React, Vue, or Angular is preferred.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails or comparable server-side frameworks such as Express or Django is a plus.
- Experience building custom pages and components with responsive CSS and a focus on page-speed performance.
- Experience with test-driven development, continuous integration, and automated testing.
- BS or MS in computer science or a related field.
