Responsibilities
- Lead applications systems analysis, programming, and delivery activities in coordination with technology and management teams.
- Define system enhancements and support new products and process improvements.
- Resolve high-impact problems and complex business and system issues through in-depth analysis.
- Design and develop applications aligned with the overall architecture blueprint.
- Establish standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
- Develop and maintain Java full-stack applications using Spring Boot microservices, REST/JSON, Angular, React, Node.js, MongoDB, and related technologies.
- Advise and coach mid-level developers and analysts and allocate work as necessary.
- Support highly available, highly scalable, 24x7 CitiDirect corporate banking services.
- Assess and manage risk while maintaining compliance with applicable laws, policies, and controls.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; master’s degree preferred.
- Knowledge of Domain Driven Design.
- Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift or an equivalent cloud platform.
- Experience with Spring Boot microservices, Spring Framework, Spring Security, and REST/JSON development.
- Experience with micro-frontend design and development using Node.js, Angular, and React.
- Experience with MongoDB distributed databases and Couchbase distributed caching.
- Experience with CI/CD technologies and tools including GitHub Enterprise, Lightspeed, Release On Demand, SonarQube, and COIN.
- Experience working in a Scaled Agile environment, including PI Planning and continuous release and deployment cycles.
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, Docker, Kafka, GitHub Copilot, CodeBuddy, JIRA, Figma, TeamCity, Harness, Gradle or Maven, SecureAssist, Checkmarx, Renovate, JUnit, and NUnit.
- Knowledge of Test Driven Development and enterprise container services.
