Bosch GlobalResponsibilities
- Participate in backlog refinement and prioritization for assigned microservices.
- Translate high-level requirements into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for assigned microservices and clarify development tasks.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java applications and enterprise microservice components.
- Contribute to backend server-side logic, API design, database interaction, and event-driven architectures.
- Write clean, efficient, and documented Java code and participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with development, product management, and stakeholders on data pipeline and solution needs.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and communicate project progress, technical challenges, and solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in Java software development focused on enterprise applications.
- Optional 1–2 years of experience or significant exposure to Product Owner responsibilities.
- Solid understanding of Core Java 11 or higher and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Practical experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
- Experience with Docker, microservice concepts, and at least one database system such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.
- Proficiency with Git and basic understanding of CI/CD concepts.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Understanding of Agile principles and Scrum methodology, including writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
