Responsibilities
- Set the technical direction for the team and influence the engineering roadmap.
- Design and implement complex systems for data-intensive use cases.
- Research and advocate for new technologies and architectural patterns.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives ensuring technical alignment.
- Enhance system operational posture through observability and reliability.
- Coach and mentor senior engineers across the organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience in an agile environment.
- Experience with Golang or Java is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with highly-scalable, event-driven systems.
- Solid understanding of database fundamentals and event streaming technologies like Kafka.
- Passion for building reliable, maintainable, scalable, and secure systems.
