Base Salary
$85k - $115k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver secure, scalable, resilient enterprise applications using Core Java, Spring Security, JavaScript, and AWS.
- Define technical standards, reusable design patterns, reference implementations, and architecture governance practices.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and implementation roadmaps with stakeholders and engineering teams.
- Lead architecture reviews, security assessments, performance optimization, code quality initiatives, and application modernization efforts.
- Mentor developers and engineering teams while promoting software development best practices, Git-based collaboration, and responsible use of GitHub Copilot.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications using Core Java.
- Strong expertise in Spring Security, including authentication, authorization, identity provider integration, and role-based access control.
- Experience architecting and deploying cloud-native applications on AWS, including security, networking, scalability, and cost optimization.
- Strong hands-on experience with Git, code reviews, branching strategies, and collaborative software development.
- Experience developing modern applications with JavaScript and integrating front-end applications with enterprise APIs and services.
- Experience leading technical initiatives, mentoring engineering teams, and driving engineering best practices.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred qualifications include GitHub Copilot or AI-assisted development experience, enterprise architecture and governance experience, observability and production support knowledge, cloud or application modernization leadership, and AWS or other cloud certifications.
