Base Salary
$210k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deliver production AI and machine learning systems from data shaping and analytics through end-user delivery.
- Develop, train, evaluate, and optimize ML models and production analytics systems.
- Define, scope, plan, and drive execution of complex production-level technical solutions.
- Lead, manage, and mentor cross-functional engineering teams across office, remote, and customer environments.
- Translate complex technical topics clearly for internal engineering teams and external stakeholders.
- Work directly with customers in the field to shape system development and solve difficult technical problems.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in data science, machine learning, computer science, or a related discipline and 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Active Secret or higher US security clearance and US citizenship.
- Excellence in Python and proficiency in at least one systems programming language.
- Proficiency in algorithms, data structures, production analytics, design patterns, cloud environments, and modern software engineering tools and processes.
- Expertise building, training, evaluating, and/or optimizing deployment of ML models.
- Preferred experience with Kubernetes, horizontally scaled architectures, NATS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, AI agents and workflows, complex data types, and secure government technology environments.
